The Edge High School Difference

Right now, many families are doing everything they can just to keep up. Groceries cost more. Gas costs more. Rent, utilities—everything feels heavier than it used to.

And in the middle of all of that, school expenses quietly pile on. Fees. Supplies. Activities. Technology. Opportunities that should be accessible to every student—but often come with a price tag.

For too many families, education starts to feel like one more financial stress.

At Edge High School, we believe it shouldn’t.

We believe students deserve access to meaningful, engaging, opportunity-rich education—without their families having to worry about how to pay for it.

That’s why we’ve made a commitment: remove the financial barriers, and open every door.

Here’s what that looks like in real life:

  • 1:1 Student Technology Access
Every student is provided a Chromebook for use during the school day—and can check one out to continue their work at home.
No purchases. No rentals. No added stress. Just access—100% free.

  • No-Cost Learning Materials
All curriculum, supplies, and classroom resources are provided. Families aren’t asked to shop for long supply lists or cover unexpected classroom fees.
Everything students need to succeed is already here—at no cost.

  • Leadership & Extracurricular Opportunities
Students have access to leadership programs like attending SheTech, clubs, and enrichment experiences such as the University of Arizona’s Sky School, that build confidence and connection.
These aren’t “extra” opportunities with extra fees—they’re part of the Edge experience, free for every student.

  • All In Youth Pickleball Program
Students receive equipment, tournament entry fees, and even the opportunity to earn their own paddle.
What would typically cost hundreds is provided completely free—because access matters.

  • Dual Enrollment Through Accelerate ASU
Students can earn high school and college credit at the same time—giving them a head start on their future. A single Accelerate ASU course typically costs $425.
At Edge, those courses are fully paid for—saving families money while opening college doors, at no cost to them.

  • Comprehensive Support Services
Students have access to a full-time social worker, along with partnerships with behavioral health agencies that provide counseling and mental health support.
Support that families often struggle to afford is available here—completely free—because student well-being matters.

  • Free Summer School (3 Weeks in June)
Students can stay on track or get ahead without families worrying about additional tuition or program costs.
Continued learning shouldn’t come with a bill—and at Edge, it doesn’t.

  • Flexible, Mastery-Based Learning Model
Our self-paced system allows students to progress based on understanding—not seat time—helping them avoid costly credit recovery  or accelerated learning programs or extended schooling.
Students succeed on their timeline, without families paying extra to catch up.

  • Financial Literacy & Investing Education
Students learn how to manage money, build savings, and take their first steps into investing—skills that can change the trajectory of their future.
Knowledge that families often have to seek out or pay for is built into the Edge experience—completely free.

Because Education Should Lift Families Up—Not Weigh Them Down

We know that behind every student is a family making sacrifices. Stretching budgets. Making tough decisions.

The last thing they should have to worry about is whether they can afford the opportunities their child deserves.

At Edge High School, we’ve built a model that removes those worries—so families can focus on what matters most: their child’s growth, confidence, and future.

Because when financial barriers are gone, students don’t just participate—they thrive.

And when families feel supported, everything changes.
