High school is a busy time in your life. Attending school, making it to your job on time, completing your schoolwork, and taking care of personal life responsibilities can make you feel like you’re being pulled in all different directions. So why would you want to add another activity to your busy schedule? Maybe because Edge High School Clubs are different. And they just may be exactly what you’re looking for.

By You, For You

Edge High School Clubs are different from other high school clubs you may have experienced. For one thing, they’re designed by you, for you! We survey Edge students in August to find out what your interests are, and build a club schedule based on what YOU want to learn and do. Just like our individualized instruction lesson plans, Edge Clubs are created with you in mind.

Something For Everyone

Both of our Edge High School campuses offer 2-3 after-school clubs per quarter, and rotate them throughout the year. They include a wide variety of topics that can reflect the broad interests of our students – and more are added each year. Here are some examples of the clubs that Edge students are currently enrolled in:

Northwest Campus

  • Social Edge is an events oriented club that brings together Edge students from all backgrounds to share activities and deepen friendships. We host theme days during spirit week, ice cream socials and other fun events on campus. We also get together off campus to volunteer at the Slaughter House – our local haunted house – on Halloween; and take trips to bowling alleys, hiking trails and more.
  • Gaming Club is back after a hiatus during COVID. Edge students and staff challenge each other with video games and board games, including our VR Oculus, eat delicious snacks and basically have fun hanging out together.

Himmel Park Campus

  • Art Club meets after school following our Wednesday Electives. It’s one of our most popular clubs, and gives students extra time to work on projects begun during Wednesday Elective art class, as well as exploring new projects and mediums with our art teacher Bonnie.
  • Games Club is a smaller club than the Northwest Gaming Club but it involves a committed group of students who love board games and Dungeons and Dragons.
  • Book Club is a growing club, led by an Edge teacher but driven by student choices in materials and discussions.
  • Sports Club is expanding beyond basketball and will also include football, tennis, and soccer.

Edge High School clubs are a great way to make friends and try out new skills and interests. Find out more and enroll today!
