At Edge we love this time of year, because we get to send our graduating seniors off into the world with an Edge High School diploma. The path to earn these diplomas is as unique as each of our graduates, but an individualized lesson plan has helped them achieve their goals.
Flexibility is Key
Throughout the school year, we offer lots of different ways to customize your school plan to fit your life circumstances. If you have a job or other responsibilities that make attending school difficult, our half-day morning and afternoon sessions enable you to attend a full school day in just 4 ½ hours. You set the pace: take only 3 classes at a time and you can complete courses in 2-3 months!
Extend Your School Year
Whether you’re looking for credit recovery or just to get ahead, Edge Summer School could be a great option for you!
Our Summer School program meets in three sections over the summer, each 3 weeks long for a total of 9 weeks. It’s a popular program – over half of our school population attends Summer School each year, for different reasons:
- Catch Up
Summer School is a great way to catch up on credits if you’ve fallen behind. The focus on fewer subjects gives you time and space to really concentrate and understand classes that may have given you trouble in the past. Our math and English classes move at a pace that supports learning for all of our students – you won’t get overloaded and you will learn.
- Get Ahead
But Summer School isn’t just for credit recovery – it’s also an incredible opportunity for motivated learners to get ahead on credits, and even graduate early! Each session offers math and English plus 1 week of art, which includes glass blowing and photography. It’s a great way to speed up your path to graduation and have fun at the same time!
Refer a Friend and You May Get a New Chromebook
Edge Summer School programs are a great way to bring new students in to check out our programs. Plus, if you invite a friend through our Refer a Friend program, you may be eligible for a free Chromebook! Ask an Edge teacher or staff for details. New student registration is free, and referred students can sign up for the same courses as you – and they can stay and attend in the fall if they want to. Summer school is voluntary – it’s up to you if you want to join us, but we hope that you do!
