When you think of high school you probably think of math, reading, science – lots of core classes. At Edge High School, we offer those classes, but we also teach courses that count towards graduation and give you life skills at the same time. Some of these courses are offered during our “Wednesday Electives” – a day each week when traditional classes are set aside and you can choose classes that you won’t find anywhere else.
Loving My Future
New this year, “Loving My Future” is a Wednesday elective that’s offered in partnership with Pima Prevention Partnership. Taught every Wednesday over 9 weeks, Loving My Future covers healthy relationship skills and financial literacy skills that will help you make wise choices in your personal life.

Did you know that unplanned pregnancies and troubled relationships are some of the biggest factors that can affect the well-being of teens? Loving My Future helps build skills so that you’ll feel confident making wise choices about partners, sex, relationships, pregnancy and more.
Money Matters
For most people, spending behaviors – good and bad – are set early in life. Loving My Future will help you take a look at your attitude towards money and support you in building positive skills around financial literacy and saving. No matter what your strengths or barriers are around money, this class will help you build important skills.
